Christine Cain, DNP, FNP-BC
Nurse PractitionerChristine has been a registered nurse for over 30 years and is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice degrees from Valparaiso University. She initially began her career in medical surgical and telemetry nursing, and for the last 22 years has focused on oncology-hematology at Premier. Christine strives to ensure quality care is provided to patients in collaboration with the healthcare team. Christine has over 15 years of clinical research experience and is a member of professional organizations including the Oncology Nursing Society and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She is also a member of the Pink Ribbon Society, a local not-for-profit organization which supports local men and women whose lives have been touched by breast cancer.

SPECIAL INTERESTS
Christine’s special interests include helping patients navigate their cancer care journey to ensure their physical and emotional needs are met. Through her years of working with the Pink Ribbon Society, she has increased her knowledge in the needs of breast cancer survivors throughout Northwest Indiana and is an invaluable resource for the women and men in our community. Christine enjoys participating in events which help to support the needs of our patients.
